Privacy policy

Last updated: 23 October 2026

This policy explains what this website collects about you, why, and what you can ask us to do with it.

Who runs this website

This website is run by Bayton Studio, the studio of the artists John Roger Bradley and Pauline Bradley. You can email us at johnrbradley@btinternet.com. Our current contact details are always on our contact page.

What we collect and why

When you send us a message through a form on this website (the contact page, or the enquiry form on an artwork's page), we collect what you type into it: your name, your email address, your phone number if you give it, your message, and your answers to the questions on the form, such as which artwork you are asking about. We use it only to reply to you and to deal with your enquiry.

Each message is stored on the website and emailed to us. We keep it until we delete it.

If you search the website, the words you search for are recorded, without anything that identifies you, so we can see what people look for.

Who looks after it

The website is hosted for us in the United Kingdom by British Web Design, who process this information on our behalf and deliver the website's email. We do not sell your information or pass it to anyone else to market to you.

Cookies

The website sets a session cookie, which keeps the website working as you move from page to page, and a security cookie, which protects the forms from misuse. Every visitor needs both, and they hold nothing about you beyond your visit.

The website counts its visitors without cookies. If we ever switch on Google Analytics or advertising tags, a banner will ask you first, nothing will be set until you accept, and your answer is remembered in your browser.

Your rights

Under UK data protection law (UK GDPR) you can ask us for a copy of the information we hold about you, ask us to correct it or delete it, and object to how we use it. Email us at johnrbradley@btinternet.com and we will help. If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.

Changes to this policy

We may change this policy from time to time. The date at the top shows when it was last updated.
